Intellectual property (IP) protection is the most critical element to fostering innovation. Rightly recognized as developmental IPR we are witnessing the struggle of IP law in handling dynamic pattern of changes in the research and innovation. Law as a means of ensuring protection to the intellectual creativity is still in transitional phase. Hence we have to keep ours self abreast with the changing dimensions of intellectual property law and to contribute to the development of intellectual property law. At present academic and professional understanding on the significance of IPR law and its practical application is less among the community. 

The center proposes

• To train the researchers and students on various aspects of IPR 
• To hold deliberations and brainstorming sessions with various experts in the area of IPR by organizing workshops, seminars at national and international level.
• To offer courses on IPR at various levels includes value added programs and certification programs, on IPR
• To impart training and to provide consultancy services in Intellectual property management for various institutions
